Road trains have many names and are sometimes known as: "roadtrains", "truck and drawbar / draw bar trailers", jumbo trailers and sometimes "wagon and drag" trailers.

Road trains are very popular in Holland, Belgium and France but available all over Europe and generally have 15 metres of deck space. 

Road trains can carry less weight than standard trailers but have loads of internal space. The road train is a great choice for manufacturers making light but bulky items. Road trains come in refrigerated, box and curtain sided formats, with many road trains also having tail lifts.
